We do not feel that it is just our “Calling” to reach out to these hurting people but it is a calling that God has called every believer to. So many ministries have the desire and compassion to reach these people but struggle with a structure that will enable them to do so. Ministries that desire to begin a Lazarus Project but are staffed with mostly volunteers or have full-time staff, but because of ministry demands, find themselves multi-tasking the existing ministry, may not have the time and resources to develop the core structure of this program. Here is where we would like to assist you. When we began the Lazarus Project it was very primitive.
There were other very good programs around that we could draw from but none of them were structured for our purpose of ministry. So this left us to basically build the program from the ground up. We have in no way arrived at the door of perfection. We are always looking at how we can better structure the different elements of the program but from our past experiences we have learned things that we would be willing to share with those who desire to partner with us in this type ministry.
Within the pages of this web site we hope that you will find help and encouragement to fulfill the calling of God in the area of ministry He has place you. After all we do not have a ministry, the ministry belongs to God we can only be willing vessels for God to use and flow through. When this happens lives can be changed, relationships restored and hope will replace despondency. Men need to find the peace that passes all understanding, there is no other than Jesus Christ.
Walter, one of our Lazarus Project graduates, and his family.
